The North Buncombe Black Hawks basketball team scored 76 points and held the host Erwin Warriors to 65 in the Black Hawks league triumph on Tuesday.

The Black Hawks now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Asheville for a 3A/4A Mountain contest on Wednesday, January 24. North Buncombe will battle a Cougars team coming off a 62-59 league loss to Enka (Enka, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 5-10.

The Warriors (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC). The Rams enter the 3A/4A Mountain contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, T.C. Roberson ran past Enka (Enka, NC), 79-49, in a league contest.
