Virginia High School Basketball - New Covenant trounces Fishburne Military

The New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Fishburne Military Caissons (Waynesboro, VA), 74-35 in Tuesday's league test.

The Gryphons (12-2) will now prepare for their test against Roanoke Catholic (Roanoke, VA). The Celtics go into the Virginia Independent test with a 4-11 record. In their last test, Roanoke Catholic was trounced by Miller School of Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA), 80-32, in a league test.

The Caissons now own a 1-14 record. They play next when they travel to Hargrave Military Academy for a Virginia Independent test on Tuesday, January 30.
