Nebraska High School Basketball - Boone Central toppled by Scotus
January 23, 2025: Columbus, NE 68601 Scotus Shamrocks (Columbus, NE) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Boone Central Cardinals (Albion, NE), 59-45 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Scotus advances its record to 12-3 on the year. The Shamrocks host Archbishop Bergan (Fremont, NE) to face the Knights in a non-league match on Friday, January 24. The Knights enter the match with a record of 8-4. Archbishop Bergan won 59-40 in their recent league match against North Bend Central (North Bend, NE)
The Cardinals now own a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ord for a C1 District 8 match on Friday, January 24. Boone Central will face a Chanticleers squad coming off a 66-57 non-league loss to Adams Central (Hastings, NE). The Chanticleers record now stands at 6-7.
