January 24, 2023: Bellefontaine, OH 43311 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Bellefontaine Chieftains (Bellefontaine, OH) and the visiting Northwestern Warriors (Springfield, OH), saw Bellefontaine's basketball squad wallop Northwestern by a tally of 75-39.
With the victory, Bellefontaine improves its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Chieftains travel to Tecumseh (New Carlisle, OH) to confront the Arrows in a Central Buckeye - Kenton Trail challenge on Friday, January 27. The Arrows come into the challenge with a record of 6-12. Tecumseh won 58-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Graham Local (St. Paris, OH)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Indian Lake Lakers (Lewistown, OH) in a Central Buckeye - Mad River challenge, on Friday, January 27. Northwestern will attempt to improve on its 1-12 season record. The Lakers come into the challenge with a 7-10 record after their 56-21 non-league loss to Shawnee (Springfield, OH).
