Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Public Service Leadership Academy Falcons (Syracuse, NY) and the visiting Cortland Purple Tigers (Cortland, NY), saw Public Service Leadership Academy's basketball squad hold off Cortland by a tally of 42-39.

With the victory, Public Service Leadership Academy improves its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Oswego (Oswego, NY) to confront the Bucs in a Section 3 Salt City - Empire challenge on Friday, January 27. The Bucs come into the challenge with a record of 2-8.

Next up, the Purple Tigers confront the Watertown Cyclones (Watertown, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Cortland will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record.
