The Central Square Redhawks basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Cortland Purple Tigers to 35 in the Redhawks league triumph on Friday.

The Redhawks now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Syracuse-Minoa for a Section 3 Salt City - Empire contest on Tuesday, February 7.

The Purple Tigers (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Fulton (Fulton, NY). The Red Raiders enter the Section 3 Salt City - Empire contest with a 8-7 record.
