South Dakota High School Basketball - Castlewood fells Colman-Egan
January 24, 2023: Castlewood, SD 57223 Castlewood Warriors (Castlewood, SD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Colman-Egan C-E Hawks (Colman, SD), 36-24 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Castlewood upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Warriors host Iroquois/Lake Preston (Iroquois, SD) to clash with the in a B Region 2 bout on Friday, January 27. The go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Iroquois/Lake Preston won 70-51 in their recent non-league bout against Hitchcock-Tulare (Hitchcock, SD)
Next up, the C-E Hawks clash with the DeSmet Bulldogs (DeSmet, SD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Colman-Egan will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 73-48 non-league loss to Sioux Valley (Volga, SD).
