In Tuesday's league outing, the Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) basketball squad felled the visiting Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI), by a margin of 52-44.

The Thunderbolts (4-8) will now prepare for their outing against Woonsocket (Woonsocket, RI). The Villa Novans go into the Division 2 outing with a 1-10 record.

The Chargers now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Moses Brown for a Division 2 outing on Thursday, January 26. Chariho will encounter a Quakers squad coming off a 55-36 league win over Cumberland (Cumberland, RI). The Quakers record now stands at 12-0.
