January 24, 2024: Chillicothe, IL 61523 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts (Chillicothe, IL) basketball squad edged the visiting East Peoria Raiders (East Peoria, IL), by a margin of 64-57.
The Grey Ghosts (11-9) will now prepare for their outing against Rantoul (Rantoul, IL). The Eagles go into the Illini Prairie outing with a 3-12 record. In their last outing, Rantoul was tipped by Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL), 56-39, in a league outing.
The Raiders now own a 11-12 record. They play next when they travel to Dunlap for a Mid-Illini outing on Friday, January 26. East Peoria will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 71-56 league win over Limestone (Bartonville, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 8-10.
