Morton Potters (Morton, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts (Chillicothe, IL), 69-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Morton upgrades its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Potters travel to East Peoria (East Peoria, IL) to play the Raiders in a Mid-Illini bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 5-5. East Peoria lost 57-36 in their recent non-league bout against Washington (Washington, IL)

Next up, the Grey Ghosts play the Midland Timberwolves (Varna, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Illinois Valley Central will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record.
