Illinois High School Basketball - Plano knocked off by Serena
January 24, 2024: Serena, IL 60549 The Serena Huskers basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Plano Reapers to 37 in the Huskers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Huskers now sport a 19-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gardner-South Wilmington for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Serena will meet a Panthers team coming off a 55-49 non-league win over Herscher (Herscher, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 7-14.
The Reapers (10-11) will now prepare for their contest against Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL). The Thunder enter the Kishwaukee River contest with a 8-12 record. In their last contest, Woodstock North ran past Marengo (Marengo, IL), 78-44, in a league contest.
