Illinois High School Basketball - Plano holds off Sandwich
December 5, 2023: Plano, IL 60545 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Plano Reapers (Plano, IL) and the visiting Sandwich Indians (Sandwich, IL), saw Plano's basketball squad hold off Sandwich by a tally of 47-40.
With the victory, Plano improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Reapers travel to Dixon (Dixon, IL) to confront the Dukes & Duchesses in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 6. The Dukes & Duchesses come into the challenge with a record of 6-0. Dixon won 82-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Rochelle (Rochelle, IL)
Next up, the Indians confront the Johnsburg Skyhawks (Johnsburg, IL) in a Kishwaukee River challenge, on Saturday, December 9. Sandwich will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Skyhawks come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 74-46 non-league loss to Lakes (Lake Villa, IL).
