Illinois High School Basketball - Morris holds off Plano
January 5, 2024: Morris, IL 60450 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Morris Redskins (Morris, IL) and the visiting Plano Reapers (Plano, IL), saw Morris's basketball squad hold off Plano by a tally of 60-57.
With the victory, Morris improves its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL) to confront the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 11-5. Glenbard South won 64-37 in their recent league challenge against Streamwood (Streamwood, IL)
Next up, the Reapers confront the Woodstock Blue Streaks (Woodstock, IL) in a Kishwaukee River challenge, on Wednesday, January 10. Plano will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Blue Streaks come into the challenge with a 11-6 record after their 46-43 non-league loss to Sycamore (Sycamore, IL).
