The Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL) basketball edged the visiting Warren Township Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL), 48-45 in Friday's league bout.

The Scouts now possess a 13-7 record. They play next when they travel to Zion-Benton for a North Suburban bout on Tuesday, January 28. Lake Forest will play a Zee-Bees team coming off a 42-37 league win over Mundelein (Mundelein, IL). The Zee-Bees record now stands at 6-12.

With the loss, Warren Township falls to 15-6 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 25. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 20-2. Bolingbrook won 64-53 in their recent non-league bout against Benet Academy (Lisle, IL)
