California High School Basketball - St. Anthony sneaks past St. Bernard
January 24, 2025: Playa del Rey, CA 90293 The St. Anthony Saints (Long Beach, CA) basketball edged the host St. Bernard Vikings (Playa del Rey, CA), 88-85 in Friday's league bout.
The Saints now possess a 15-6 record. They play next when they travel to Serra for a Del Rey bout on Monday, January 27. St. Anthony will play a Cavaliers team coming off a 96-67 league loss to St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 11-13.
With the loss, St. Bernard falls to 17-7 on the campaign. The Vikings host St. Monica (Santa Monica, CA) to play the Mariners in a Del Rey bout on Monday, January 27. The Mariners go into the bout with a record of 17-8. St. Monica won 46-31 in their recent league bout against Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA)
