California High School Basketball - St. Monica can't hold off St. Anthony

With the victory, St. Anthony upgrades its record to 12-6 on the year. The Saints travel to St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA) to face the Warriors in a Del Rey match on Monday, January 20. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 12-7. St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy won 54-30 in their recent league match against Serra (Gardena, CA)
The Mariners now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Serra for a Del Rey match on Monday, January 20. St. Monica will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 60-53 non-league win over Lancaster (Lancaster, CA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 11-11.
