Washington High School Basketball - Squalicum thwarts Anacortes
January 24, 2025: Bellingham, WA 98226 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA) and the visiting Anacortes Seahawks (Anacortes, WA), observed Squalicum's basketball team knock off Anacortes by a score of 58-42.
The Storm (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Bellingham (Bellingham, WA). The Bayhawks come into the non-league challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Bellingham prevailed over Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA), 47-39, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Seahawks encounter the Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 27. Anacortes will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 14-0 record after their 56-51 non-league win over Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA).
