Washington High School Basketball - Squalicum thwarts Meridian
December 17, 2024: Bellingham, WA 98226 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA) and the visiting Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA), observed Squalicum's basketball team knock off Meridian by a score of 70-59.
The Storm (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lakewood (Arlington, WA). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Lakewood prevailed over La Conner (LaConner, WA), 103-33, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Blaine Borderites (Blaine, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 20. Meridian will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Borderites come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 49-39 non-league loss to Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA).
