Washington High School Basketball - Meridian holds off Sedro-Woolley
January 24, 2025: Bellingham, WA 98226 The Meridian Trojans basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Sedro-Woolley Cubs to 48 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Trojans now possess a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Lakewood for a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. Meridian will confront a Cougars team coming off a 88-51 non-league win over Lummi (Bellingham, WA). The Cougars record now stands at 11-3.
With the loss, Sedro-Woolley falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Cubs travel to Sehome (Bellingham, WA) to confront the Mariners in a non-league game on Monday, January 27. The Mariners go into the game with a record of 2-11. Sehome lost 71-33 in their recent non-league game against Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA)
