Washington High School Basketball - Meridian thwarts Ferndale
January 28, 2025: Ferndale, WA 98248 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA) and the host Ferndale Golden Eagles (Ferndale, WA), observed Meridian's basketball team knock off Ferndale by a score of 52-32.
The Trojans (8-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 11-4 record. In their last challenge, Mount Vernon prevailed over Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA), 58-51, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Golden Eagles encounter the Blaine Borderites (Blaine, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 30. Ferndale will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record. The Borderites come into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 68-48 non-league loss to Lakewood (Arlington, WA).
