The West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC) basketball edged the host Walkertown Wolfpack (Walkertown, NC), 49-48 in Friday's league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Morehead for a bout on Tuesday, January 28. West Stokes will play a Panthers team coming off a 45-43 non-league loss to McMichael (Mayodan, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 6-8.
