January 24, 2025: Walkertown, NC 27051 The West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC) basketball edged the host Walkertown Wolfpack (Walkertown, NC), 49-48 in Friday's league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Morehead for a bout on Tuesday, January 28. West Stokes will play a Panthers team coming off a 45-43 non-league loss to McMichael (Mayodan, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 6-8.
With the loss, Walkertown falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Wolfpack travel to Reidsville (Reidsville, NC) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Reidsville won 39-23 in their recent non-league bout against North Forsyth (Winston-Salem, NC)
