In Tuesday's league outing, the Sands Mustangs (Ackerly, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Garden City Bearkats (Garden City, TX), by a margin of 85-13.

The Mustangs (25-3) will now prepare for their outing against Grady (Lenorah, TX). The Wildcats go into the 1A Region I District 8 outing with a 7-7 record. In their last outing, Grady was trounced by Borden County (Gail, TX), 50-34, in a league outing.
