Lynbrook Vikings (San Jose, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Santa Clara Bruins (Santa Clara, CA), 61-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Lynbrook upgrades its record to 9-9 on the season. The Vikings travel to Homestead (Cupertino, CA) to play the Mustangs in a Santa Clara Valley - El Camino bout on Friday, January 27. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 8-11. Homestead lost 63-57 in their recent league bout against Milpitas (Milpitas, CA)
