February 1, 2023: Santa Clara, CA 95051 The Wilcox Chargers (Santa Clara, CA) basketball knocked off the host Santa Clara Bruins (Santa Clara, CA), 71-59 in Wednesday's league test.
The Chargers (13-7) will now prepare for their test against Homestead (Cupertino, CA). The Mustangs go into the Santa Clara Valley - El Camino test with a 8-13 record. In their last test, Homestead went down by Fremont (Sunnyvale, CA), 71-63, in a league test.
The Bruins now own a 6-13 record. They play next when they host Monta Vista for a Santa Clara Valley - El Camino test on Friday, February 3. Santa Clara will encounter a Matadors squad coming off a 71-46 non-league win over Basis Independent Silicon Valley (San Jose, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 8-11.
