Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Gilroy Mustangs (Gilroy, CA) and the visiting Yerba Buena Aztec Warriors (San Jose, CA), saw Gilroy's basketball squad hold off Yerba Buena by a tally of 56-53.

With the victory, Gilroy improves its record to 4-12 on the campaign. The Mustangs host San Jose (San Jose, CA) to confront the Bulldogs in a challenge on Friday, January 27. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 2-12. San Jose lost 34-24 in their recent league challenge against Gunderson (San Jose, CA)
