Connecticut High School Basketball - Northwest Catholic crushes Platt
January 25, 2024: Meriden, CT 06451 Northwest Catholic Lions (West Hartford, CT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Platt Panthers (Meriden, CT), 94-50 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Northwest Catholic upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Lions travel to Amistad (New Haven, CT) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 3-9. Amistad lost 74-39 in their recent non-league bout against St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT)
Next up, the Panthers clash with the Lewis Mills Spartans (Burlington, CT) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Platt will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 68-56 non-league win over RHAM (Hebron, CT).
