Connecticut High School Basketball - Northwest Catholic nudges Bloomfield
January 5, 2024: West Hartford, CT 06117 Northwest Catholic Lions (West Hartford, CT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Bloomfield Warhawks (Bloomfield, CT), 54-51 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Northwest Catholic upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Lions travel to Farmington (Farmington, CT) to clash with the River Hawks in a Central Connecticut - West Colonial bout on Tuesday, January 9. The River Hawks go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Farmington won 56-51 in their recent non-league bout against Middletown (Middletown, CT)
Next up, the Warhawks clash with the East Catholic Eagles (Manchester, CT) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. Bloomfield will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 7-0 record after their 59-47 non-league win over Conard (West Hartford, CT).
