January 25, 2025: Lancaster, PA 17602 The Lancaster Mennonite Blazers (Lancaster, PA) basketball edged the visiting Sun Valley Vanguards (Aston, PA), 41-34 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Blazers now possess a 14-2 record. They play next when they host Pequea Valley for a Lancaster-Lebanon 4 bout on Tuesday, January 28. Lancaster Mennonite will play a Braves team coming off a 54-39 non-league win over Upper Dauphin Area (Elizabethville, PA). The Braves record now stands at 6-9.
With the loss, Sun Valley falls to 14-4 on the campaign. The Vanguards travel to Kennett (Kennett Square, PA) to play the Blue Demons in a Ches-Mont - American bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Blue Demons go into the bout with a record of 4-10. Kennett lost 63-42 in their recent non-league bout against Pottsgrove (Pottsgrove, PA)
