The Sun Valley Vanguards basketball team scored 39 points and limited the host Unionville Longhorns to 32 in the Vanguards league triumph on Thursday.

The Vanguards now have a 12-3 record. They play next when they host Freire Charter for a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. Sun Valley will confront a Dragon team coming off a 45-43 non-league loss to Strawberry Mansion (Philadelphia, PA). The Dragon record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, Unionville falls to 7-9 on the campaign. The Longhorns host Central Dauphin (Harrisburg, PA) to confront the Rams in a non-league game on Monday, January 20.
