Veritas Collegiate Academy Spartans (Chesapeake, VA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Legacy Academy (Richmond, VA), 65-58 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Veritas Collegiate Academy advances its record to 13-6 on the year. The Spartans travel to Life Christian Academy (Chester, VA) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 4-13. Life Christian Academy lost 87-47 in their recent non-league match against Veritas Collegiate Academy (Arlington, VA)

The now own a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Spirit HomeSchool for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. Legacy Academy will face a Warhawks squad coming off a 100-76 non-league loss to Veritas Collegiate Academy (Chesapeake, VA). The Warhawks record now stands at 11-5.
