The Thayer Central Titans (Hebron, NE) basketball edged the visiting Sandy Creek Cougars (Fairfield, NE), 35-32 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Titans now possess a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to Tri County for a D1 District 1 bout on Tuesday, January 28. Thayer Central will play a Trojans team coming off a 51-36 non-league win over Centennial (Utica, NE). The Trojans record now stands at 10-5.
