In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Cherry Creek Bruins ice hockey team scored a close 7-5 triumph over the Valor Christian Eagles.

The Bruins (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Denver East (Denver, CO). The Angels come into the 5A League 2 contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Denver East by Poudre School District (Fort Collins, CO), 4-1, in a non-league contest.
