Highland Prep Honey Badgers (Surprise, AZ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Mountainside Wolves (Wittmann, AZ), 79-6 in a league bout.

With the win, Highland Prep upgrades its record to 16-6 on the season. The Honey Badgers host BASIS Phoenix (Phoenix, AZ) to play the in a 2A Central bout on Monday, January 30. The go into the bout with a record of 3-13. BASIS Phoenix lost 62-18 in their recent league bout against Northland Prep Academy (Flagstaff, AZ)

Next up, the Wolves play the North Pointe Prep Falcons (Phoenix, AZ) in a 2A Central bout, on Wednesday, February 1. Mountainside will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record.
