Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Highland Prep Honey Badgers (Surprise, AZ) and the host BASIS Phoenix (Phoenix, AZ), saw Highland Prep's basketball squad wallop BASIS Phoenix by a tally of 65-11.

With the victory, Highland Prep improves its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Honey Badgers host Glendale Prep Academy (Glendale, AZ) to play the Griffins in a 2A Central challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Griffins come into the challenge with a record of 7-3. Glendale Prep Academy won 36-12 in their recent league challenge against Mountainside (Wittmann, AZ)

Next up, the play the North Pointe Prep Falcons (Phoenix, AZ) in a 2A Central challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. BASIS Phoenix will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 63-38 non-league loss to Anthem Prep (Anthem, AZ).
