The Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Tri-Valley Mustangs to 44 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Huskies now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Winner for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28. Elk Point-Jefferson will meet a Warriors team coming off a 54-45 non-league loss to Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD). The Warriors record now stands at 7-4.
