Ohio High School Basketball - St. John ripped by Mathews

The Mathews Mustangs basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting St. John Fighting Herald to 28 in the Mustangs league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Badger for a Northeastern contest on Monday, January 30. Mathews will battle a Braves team coming off a 62-47 non-league win over McKinley (Niles, OH). The Braves record now stands at 16-3.

The Fighting Herald (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Harding (Fairport Harbor, OH). The Skippers enter the non-league contest with a 11-8 record.
