Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) and the host Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC), saw Northwest Cabarrus's basketball squad overcome Lake Norman Charter by a tally of 75-57.

With the victory, Northwest Cabarrus improves its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Trojans host Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to confront the Vikings in a 3A South Piedmont challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 19-0. Central Cabarrus won 83-36 in their recent league challenge against Carson (China Grove, NC)

Next up, the Knights confront the Concord Spiders (Concord, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Lake Norman Charter will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record. The Spiders come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 67-50 league loss to Robinson (Concord, NC).
