North Carolina High School Basketball - Central Cabarrus overwhelms Northwest Cabarrus

January 30, 2024: Concord, NC 28027

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) and the host Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC), saw Central Cabarrus's basketball squad wallop Northwest Cabarrus by a tally of 96-58.

With the victory, Central Cabarrus improves its record to 20-0 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC) to play the Falcons in a 3A South Piedmont challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 11-8. West Rowan lost 70-57 in their recent league challenge against Concord (Concord, NC)

Next up, the Trojans play the Robinson Bulldogs (Concord, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont challenge, on Friday, February 2. Northwest Cabarrus will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 76-32 league win over East Rowan (Salisbury, NC).
