Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) and the host East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC), saw Central Cabarrus's basketball squad wallop East Rowan by a tally of 104-37.

With the victory, Central Cabarrus improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Vikings host West Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to play the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. West Cabarrus won 64-61 in their recent non-league challenge against Olympic (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. East Rowan will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 75-71 league loss to West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC).
