Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Purchase Line trounced by River Valley

January 26, 2024: Blairsville, PA 15717

The River Valley Panthers routed the visiting Purchase Line Red Dragons basketball team by a final score of 86-40 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Cambria Heights Highlanders (Patton, PA) in a Heritage game, on Monday, January 29. River Valley will attempt to move on its 13-5 season record. The Highlanders enter the game with a 3-14 record after their 58-46 league loss to Northern Cambria (Northern Cambria, PA).

With the defeat, Purchase Line moves to 1-18 on the year. The Red dragons host Conemaugh Township (Davidsville, PA) to face the Indians in a Heritage game on Monday, January 29. The Indians enter the game with a record of 14-3. Conemaugh Township lost 54-49 in their recent league game against Portage (Portage, PA)
