January 8, 2024: Marion Center, PA 15759

River Valley Panthers (Blairsville, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA), 59-43 in a league bout.

With the win, River Valley upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Panthers host Conemaugh Valley (Johnstown, PA) to play the Blue Jays in a Heritage bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Blue Jays go into the bout with a record of 12-1. Conemaugh Valley won 69-66 in their recent league bout against Northern Cambria (Northern Cambria, PA)

Next up, the Stingers play the Northern Cambria Colts (Northern Cambria, PA) in a Heritage bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Marion Center will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Colts go into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 69-66 league loss to Conemaugh Valley (Johnstown, PA).
