Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Marion Center ripped by Portage

The Portage Mustangs basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Marion Center Stingers to 50 in the Mustangs league triumph on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Purchase Line for a Heritage contest on Friday, December 8. Portage will meet a Red Dragons team coming off a 85-62 league loss to Conemaugh Valley (Johnstown, PA). The Red Dragons record now stands at 0-3.

The Stingers (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Cambria Heights (Patton, PA). The Highlanders enter the Heritage contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Cambria Heights was routed by West Shamokin (Rural Valley, PA), 46-41, in a league contest.
