Maine High School Basketball - Madison tops Mountain Valley
January 27, 2022: Madison, ME 04950 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Madison Bulldogs (Madison, ME) and the visiting Mountain Valley Falcons (Rumford, ME), saw Madison's basketball squad knock off Mountain Valley by a count of 52-33.
With the victory, Madison upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Winthrop (Winthrop, ME) to play the Ramblers in a C South challenge on Monday, January 31. The Ramblers come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Winthrop won 60-20 in their recent league challenge against Buckfield (Buckfield, ME)
Next up, the Falcons play the Oak Hill Raiders (Sabattus, ME) in a B South challenge, on Friday, January 28. Mountain Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 56-39 non-league loss to Kents Hill School (Kents Hill, ME).
