Illinois High School Basketball - Armstrong routs Tri-Point
January 27, 2023: Armstrong, IL 61812 In Friday's non-league outing, the Armstrong Trojans (Armstrong, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Tri-Point Chargers (Cullom, IL), by a count of 84-36.
The Trojans (6-15) will now prepare for their outing against Illinois Lutheran (Crete, IL). The Chargers go into the non-league outing with a 5-16 record. In their last outing, Illinois Lutheran smashed Grace Christian Academy (Kankakee, IL), 53-21, in a league outing.
The Chargers now hold a 0-23 record. They play next when they travel to St. Anne for a River Valley outing on Monday, January 30. Tri-Point will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 63-58 non-league win over Coal City (Coal City, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 13-13.
