Rhode Island High School Basketball - Chariho tops St. Raphael Academy
January 27, 2023: Pawtucket, RI 02860 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI) and the host St. Raphael Academy Saints (Pawtucket, RI), saw Chariho's basketball squad knock off St. Raphael Academy by a count of 55-43.
With the victory, Chariho upgrades its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Chargers host Lincoln (Lincoln, RI) to play the Lions in a Division 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Lincoln won 66-54 in their recent league challenge against South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI)
Next up, the Saints play the Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI) in a Division 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. St. Raphael Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 43-42 league win over Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI).
