Rhode Island High School Basketball - Coventry tops St. Raphael Academy
February 21, 2023: Coventry, RI 02816 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Coventry Oakers (Coventry, RI) and the visiting St. Raphael Academy Saints (Pawtucket, RI), saw Coventry's basketball squad knock off St. Raphael Academy by a tally of 68-53.
With the victory, Coventry improves its record to 10-12 on the campaign. The Oakers travel to Cranston West (Cranston, RI) to play the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 25. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 14-8. Cranston West won 62-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Lincoln (Lincoln, RI)
Next up, the Saints play the Johnston Panthers (Johnston, RI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 23. St. Raphael Academy will attempt to improve on its 19-6 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 17-4 record after their 50-34 non-league win over Burrillville (Harrisville, RI).
