The Nature Coast Tech Sharks basketball team scored 41 points and held the host Weeki Wachee Hornets to 40 in the Sharks league triumph on Friday.

The Sharks now sport a 13-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crystal River for a 4A District 9 contest on Monday, January 30. Nature Coast Tech will battle a Pirates team coming off a 85-39 non-league loss to Lecanto (Lecanto, FL). The Pirates record now stands at 5-15.

The Hornets (10-12) will now prepare for their contest against Pasco (Dade City, FL). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 4-13 record. In their last contest, Pasco was nudged by River Ridge (New Port Richey, FL), 72-36, in a league contest.
