The Central Bears basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Nature Coast Tech Sharks to 26 in the Bears league victory on Friday.

The Bears now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lecanto for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16. Central will battle a Panthers team coming off a 60-56 non-league win over Hernando (Brooksville, FL). The Panthers record now stands at 13-3.

The Sharks (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Citrus (Inverness, FL). The Hurricanes come into the non-league contest with a 3-12 record. In their last contest, Citrus triumphed over Crystal River (Crystal River, FL), 34-32, in a non-league contest.
