January 27, 2023: Ralls, TX 79357 In Friday's league match, the visiting New Deal Lions basketball team scored a good 70-52 victory over the Ralls Jackrabbits.
With the victory, New Deal improves its record to 18-7 on the campaign. The Lions host Olton (Olton, TX) to play the Mustangs in a 2A Region I District 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 20-4. Olton won 109-15 in their recent league challenge against Sudan (Sudan, TX)
Next up, the Jackrabbits play the Lockney Longhorns (Lockney, TX) in a 2A Region I District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Ralls will attempt to improve on its 4-20 season record. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a 11-12 record after their 115-45 league loss to Floydada (Floydada, TX).
